Thank you all for your valuable advice and comments. The ring has been identified as a diamond. The 375 and the pd are what steve said in his comment. I have still not been able to identify the other marking, however I will continue to keep looking. Thank you again I really appreciate all the advice and I absolutely love this site. Regards tania

thanks for going to the trouble of drawing an outline of the marks, and very nicely done, I might add. Please let us know how you get on with the gem id. It's a beautiful ring, the stone looks like an aquamarine, however test will positively identify.
Steve's comment was insightful.
I'll try and dig up some info on the L lines mark, but it could take a couple of weeks, we are pretty much snowed under at present.
