it's always good to see when a visitor takes the trouble to submit a photo of their jewelry. A photo says a thousand words, and a photo of the piece is its entirety is a start, but for Jewelry appraisal purposes (which includes a Valuation) close-ups are also requested.
Also a photo of the clasp and any background information, for example, how did you came to acquire it? Other very helpful information might include "marks" on the metal or signatures on the back of the cameo for instance. The marks could give the appraiser an indication of the gold content and the maker, etc.
