What earrings to wear on my wedding day?

Hello, My future mother-in-law is letting me borrow her pearl necklace. Note the pearls are an off white almost a very very light pink and I am having trouble finding earrings to match. I really want to wear drop down earrings but I'm starting to think I'm not going to be able to wear anything because I can't find a match. My question is can I wear a diamond drop down earring or should it be pearls? If it should be pearls do you know where i can find earrings that are the color I have described? Thank you!
