K18
by: Kima

Japanese jewelers use K18 for gold standard of 18 carat. It is not filled, or plated. Look for an "M" in a shell... that would be a Mikimoto hallmark. Beautiful ring!

Have the RingTested
by: Anonymous

Hi Gwen

the only way you are going to know if it is 18 k solid gold for certain, is to get the ring tested by your local jeweler.

A visitor has replied to a similar K18 question, the K18 was marked on her necklace.

The ring looks beautiful, with the three cultured pearls running down the length of the finger; the gold work surrounding the pearls is luxurious and interesting. It gives the ring the appearance of being handcrafted. We would loved to have seen a close-up image of this cultured pearl ring, although we understand it is not always possible. If you find the time Gwen, you can find more information on Cultured Pearls Here.

Best wishes,
