I also have a beautiful 10kt gold ring with 7 large diamonds marked JTC 969. This ring is like nothing I've ever saw before. Each of the 7 mounts or set idk what you call them hold eaxh individual diamond to the ring. Each mount has a flat head screw in the back as if you could take the whole diamond n set out.

Antique wedding ring by: Anonymous
My mother got me a ring at an estate sale - its a band with two rows of diamonds so 12 in all its stamped 969 14kt maybe 18kt and I know the jtc is an old trademark for Zales
looks like it could be 1925 to 1950 but I'm leaning to 1920s maybe 1930s just curious how much it's worth, scared to lose an antique ring worth millions lol please help!!

My Wedding Band by: Giancarlo Pascuccio
I have an unusual wedding ring with a hallmark that reads 14K with a JTC in a circle and 141 in a circle next to it. Any help in identifying what this means would be grossly appreciated.
did you read the entire thread? It could be an expired Zales jewelry mark.

969 jtc 14k by: Anonymous
I have an estate sale piece, bought from a jeweler and appraised. It is real 14k white gold and the marquis diamond is real but small (I think 1/8 carat). I have seen jtc in reference to pieces bought directly from zales. I am assuming the 969 is a line of jewelery and the jtc is the zales jeweler mark from the era. I do not know when it was made. In 1990 it was appraised for about $800. Hope that helps.

JTC Jewelry by: JM
I also just bought a ring at an estate sale, some lady said she inhereted a lot of jewelry, while I was there a man took about 100 rings paid about $800 for them all and was still scavanging through tons of rings the lady had, most appeared to be antique.
My wife and I managed to get some that appeared to be gold, and I came across one that read JTC 14kt 969, and it was like a wedding band with a small wedding band that came apart from the middle of ring.
It had a larger stone in middle. I bought it from lady for $10, and I want to know if anyone has any info if it may be some antique wedding ring, or even gold at all. Thanks. JM

I've been finding several references online that JTC is an expired mark for Zales jewelers, that used to be placed on items sold in Zales and associated stores.

I have a JTC ring too by: Anonymous
I have a gold engagement ring that I purchased from an antique store. It is 14K gold as per a stamp on the inside of the band. It also has JTC followed by a dot and 5 digit number; JTC 11044. It is all block style lettering. I am super curious to know what this stands for. The lady I bought it from belived it was from 1960s or 70s.

More Information Requested. by: Anonymous
Hi Lisa thank you for writing in with the following hallmark question:
"My ring has the hallmark JTC with a number behind it. What does JTC stand for?"
Lisa, could you please provide more info. Do you know the metal composition? If not, what is the color of the metal? What style is the ring? Are there any stones in the ring? How old do you think it is? Where did you get from? Was it handed down to you ? Did you buy it recently from an auction? What is the name behind the letters? Are the letters JTC in script? Are you sure it is a J and not an I - easy to confuse. Can you upload a photo in a follow-up submission. Thank you
