Yes, it will be the Maker's Mark that you can see. There are quite a few makers with the same initials JH - all with very slight variations. ie font style. Some have a dot between the letters, some letters overlap. A small detail like a dot between the letters can make all the difference! That's why my mantra "a photo please" is important when making a hallmark determination. Please upload a photo of the mark in a resubmission.
