Unusual. Very. Your two pieces look closer to the style of Totemic Jewelry of the Zuni Pueblo than and Ancient Egyptian style
I have seen a Tablita ceremonial headdress worn by dancers throughout the Pueblo world and the totem on the headdress resembles the faces on your jewelry. Tablitas are usually made from flat pieces of wood and often cut in stepped or terraced shapes that represent clouds. The nature of the background material with its terrace like surface also resembles clouds.
Tablitas are painted often with water symbols.

Cameo Information by: Yvonne
I would not classify these two pieces as cameo. A cameo is piece of jewellery, usually oval in shape, consisting of a portrait in profile carved in relief on a background of a different colour.
