Vogue Pearls - Trade, Brand Names by: Anonymous
Good Afternoon Joanne!
Your double strand of Pearls look really beautiful! The mark stamped on the clasp indicates the clasp is made of Silver. Joanne, in connection with the name VOGUE on the box, we've managed to track down Three Trade/Brand Names - VOGUE ca. 1950s.
1. VOGUE - Clocks, Watches. (The E Ingraham Co.) 2. VOGUE - Electric Clocks. (Pennwood Numechron Co.) 3. VOGUE - Men's Jewelry. (M J Grauer Co.)
Joanne, as you can appreciate, I can only spend a certain amount of time on each question, and in this amount of time, I couldn't find a direct connection of the name "VOGUE" on the box, with PEARLS. (see above)
Joanne, this doesn't mean the Pearls were not originally purchased in the "Vogue" box, all it really means is, I haven't unfortunately enough time to do an extensive research in this area.
