Rose ring

Does anyone know where i can find this ring? I bought mine in NYC and i took it off to wash my hands and put my hair up at work (the casino) and left it on the counter :( i went back to grab it and someone stole it. I checked in lost and found for months and no one ever turned it in. I would love to replace it. I never took it off :(

I have the same exact ring that I bought in a Silver jewelry shop. I have also seen other stores sell it. I love my ring and would replace it as quickly as possible with the same design. If you really love it, then good. I get complimented on mine all the time. If it is vintage or not, it's really a beautiful piece of jewelry. Take care of it.

A Rose Ring That Cannot Wither

I think, women are much more like each other than men, we have at our core, only two passions, beauty and love. I agree, your rose that cannot wither is quite beautiful and has a quality that cannot be expressed in dollar value. Concerning its fabrication and age.

The inside of the ring would be quite telling, here's why Liz:

Repousse is a technique of producing a relief decoration on a metal plate by punching and hammering thin metal from the reverse in order to raise the design on the front.

On some examples the relief design is refined by chasing on the front or engraving. sometimes in imitation of true repousse work the decorative design is not beaten from the reverse but pieces of metal are cut out separately embossed and affixed to the front.

Liz, examine the ring, and inside of the ring, preferably under loupe magnification for any markings on the metal, which could provide a scenario of disclosure in determining its market value, craftsmanship and history.
