Value of strand of Mikimoto pearls - Airforce Exchange

I inherited a 24" strand of Mikimoto pearls with gold clasp with pearl on top and M on back. I want to know the value of these. They are in excellent shape and I have the original red box the strand came in. Strand was purchased in 1993 for $1450 at an Air Force Exchange.
