The marks I've seen for the Robert Tennant & Co. have a different mark than the OPs mark, with a dot underneath the "o". The antique T & Co. mark on a 10K ring I've seen has the dot as Tiffany has it today...that is, as a period after the 'o' positioned as a normal sentence period. Furthermore, I believe pieces from anywhere in the UK would have or have had assay marks. The piece I came across with the T & Co. mark clearly never had UK assay marks (the 10K mark is clearly antique American). This is not to say OPs ring is a Tiffany ring, but Tennant is not the only one with the T & Co. mark. The ampersand (&) in the piece I saw is forward facing, and not the same as the ampersand font typically seen in today's Tiffany & Co pieces, and I believe the unique ampersand in these T & Co. mystery 10K pieces might be a good place to begin research.
The ring I saw is a typical 6-prong, 10K Tiffany style mount circa 1900 holding a round faceted colored stone, produced when these rings were ubiquitous. It's conceivable to me that Tiffany may have dabbled in producing these popular rings during this time. Identifying these rings as Tiffany or not will require the opinion of someone highly specialized in Tiffany history.

Tiffany did stock 10k earlier in their history by: Anonymous
To my understanding Tiffany did formerly make 10k gold jewelry. It may have only been men's items, not certain about that aspect. This time period would have been early-mid 20th century - the 1900's, in other words. Until the late 1990's, Tiffany routinely used 14k for many items, not merely for men. Of course, they also used 18k for select items. The common belief is that 18k was too delicate for daily wear, hence 14k was something actually usable. Tiffany will verify that they sold 10k items, but you may have to do a lot of research amongst the staff to hear such.

No 10K Tiff, but T&Co. alone common, at least today. by: Neeterlou
No 10 K.
You never know what custom piece might turn up, if this is an exceptional cameo, take it to have it examined. But Tiff's would have set in 14 K at least.
Jewelry today is OFTEN only marked T & Co.
IMHO. I do have pieces purchased in store that say T&Co. and only that. Plus the amt. of precious metal.

Tiffany Jewelry Marks Answer by: Anonymous
Tiffany did not make 10k gold jewelry. So any jewelry that is 10k, with a Tiffany mark of any kind, would not be authentic. I have studied Tiffany gold, sterling and EP (electro plate) pieces, and they did not ever off 10kt jewelry at any time in history. They at times offer 14kt, but prefer 18kt usually.
To answer your question about the mark, it will always say "Tiffany & Co." I have an extremely small platinum ring I purchased from them, and trust me, they can get all of that on the smallest or narrowest of items.

t&co marking by: yompa
i have a masonic medal with the same hallmark marking. all i can find out is it is a birmingham company.any other ideas i would be greatfull.
It talks about Tiffany's trademark and has photos of the Tiffany jewelry hallmarks. The Tiffany hallmark does not look like the mark on your cameo ring (with the T abbreviation) and I believe (but may be wrong) that the trade mark on Tiffanys jewelry has always remained the same, and like you, have never come across a cameo ring made by Tiffany and Co.
