Stan, can you tell, what material the cameo is made from? Shell, plastic, hard-stone or are you concerned, the cameo is made from composite material (which is also quite common).
Stan, the subject on the cameo, you didn't mention; a ladies head & shoulders in profile? Or is the subject an astonishing Greek mythological subject, which indicates an antique cameo, which are usually more valuable.
