Stumped on an interesting find

Hello,
I picked these items up for my wife, I found them interesting largely because I had not seen anything like them before. I don't generally collect costume jewelry but these had an interesting back story. The woman I bought them from, her mother collected them from her various travels, and she hand dipped 2 of the pieces into 24k gold. She had come from Armenia when she was very young, 1930's or so. I have tried to find out more about the Arabic style writing on the back of the pendant but can't for the life of me identify it, or even come close to finding a reasonable match. I was hoping you may have an idea of what it may be. This is the piece that baffles me the most, any help in identifying it and a possible history on the origin would be amazing. Thank you!
