Strange Symbols Inside Old Cameo Ring

Hi, I have an old 10K cameo ring that I am trying to identify the symbols stamped inside. I'm also curious as to the type of stone or shell it is and if it is hand carved or done by machine. It is an intaglio (reverse cameo). Pictures attached. Please help!!
