Strange engraving WG

I bought this older ring that I am not quite sure if it's silver with gold trim or white gold with yellow gold trim. It also has what looks like a jade stone in it, and the ring shape is similar to a class ring look with stone. It has two engravings inside one that looks like W.G. and the other that is worn to much to really see.
