Sorry to hear of your problem. Id take it to my jeweler and get him to test it and if not 10k I'd be asking the seller for a refund for the ring, and the cost of the test. Get it tested. That's the only way you are going to know for sure what it is. Cheers Pat

I've never heard of a mark like that. If it's an old ring and there's a space between the number 1 and the K it could be 10K - and the zero has worn away.
I'd be getting the ruby examined too if I were you. Was it sold to you as a natural ruby?
