Richter Pearls

I just bought a strand of cultured Richter pearls with matching earrings with a certificate of authentication with the address 780 Fifth Ave. I have never heard of Richter pearls, but just did some Googling and came across the name "Clare Richter." Is there anything else you can tell me about these pearls and what they might be from?
