I was cleaning out my 90 year old Grandmother's house and I found a red box with 3 single strands of pearls. One has a fancier clasp than the other 2. But, all 3 are beautiful. One strand is more of a light grey color. The box and paper work inside says: Majorica Barcelona, Spain. The worlds most precious simulated pearls. I'm not much of a jewelry person and I was wondering what they are worth and where would be the right place to take them? Thank you.

I have a very old Majorica Necklace and matching ear rings in the original box. Purchased some time in the 1950's - I need to sell these in the New Jersey area and get the best price I can. Any ideas, I have seen two dealers with 2 way different prices. How do I know what is fare?
Thanks

I have a Majorica baroque pearl bracelet and they have taken on a purplish cast. Is there anything that I can do to get them back to their original pearl color? How do I clean them?

Need to have a genuine strand of 36 inch Majorica Pearls from pre 1980 restrung by the manufacturer. Anybody know how I go about doing this? I do not want to take them in to a department store or a jewelry store to have them done.
To be a Christmas gift for my 21 yr old g.daughter.
If you can help...thanks a lot...Audrey

I received a single strand pearl necklace for my 16th birthday in 1963. I did not know it was a Majorica until today when I saw the markings on the clasp. Can you tell me if it is a "real" pearl necklace and what it might be worth. I'd like to hand it down to my 18 yr. old granddaughter. Thank you.

Was wondering how much these pearls were worth?
The first set has 74 pearls and a bow clasp with 3 diamonds and a small pearl in he middle.
The second set is a two row pearl necklace with 86 pearls and a clasp that has a gold leaf circle surrounding a pearl.

I have several individual packets of majorica pearls that I found in an attic. They are in a sealed wrapper and was wondering what the value of these would be. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

My pearls were bought for me while we were living in Geneva in 1990. Can you tell me if the clasps were genuine gold then?. The clasp certainly appears that it is as the necklace has a safety chain attached. I can't believe, though, after all these years that I have only now discovered that the necklace wasn't made with authentic pearls!. Marge Dawson, author of Pearls of Creation, confirmed this. She though, seeing my distress advised me to enjoy them nonetheless. Looking forward to hearing from you.
God Bless

I have inherited a pair of at least 50 year old Majorca pearls on gold posts. They have a dia of 10mm. I would like to know if they are natural or cultured pearls and also their value in today's market. Because they are quite heavy I don't wear them much but they have a beautiful warm colour and lustre.
