Japanese Pearl ring

I was given a Japanese pearl ring which is about 60 years or older I don't know if its Natural Pearls or Cultured pearls in the ring. I was told it was worth a lot of money when it was given to me. It is hallmarked inside K8 in a square then an O with I think it is a X inside it
