"Hello, I have an old ring that has a symbol of a U with an arrow through it. Or it could be an N with an arrow through it. Depending on which way you look at it. Could you please tell me what the symbol stands for? Thank you."
Susan what a lovely piece! It's a U. Not quite victorian but old as you say- the mark would be Uncas Mfg Co. manufacturing Jewelers, of Providence, RI, USA - ca 1920s - to present.
