Old bracelet, but the stones do not seem like glass and seem strangely real got any ideas?

I just think this is a stone instead of glass. It is old, but I think the stones may not just be plain cheap. They are individuals and not all are uniform in size or shape if you look hard. Also they do not look like any of the stones I have tried to compare them too. Thank you.
