My Grandmother's Cameo Necklace

My mom found this necklace in my grandmother's jewelry box after she passed away and we're trying to find out if it is real or the vintage kind, or just some cheaper knock off.

I don't know what it looked like before my mom "cleaned" it. It now looks kinda blah, not shiny. The clasp has a tag that says F& Real, or F&B, or F&8, cannot completely tell for sure. I would appreciate any kind of info that you can tell me on this piece.
