MIZPAH thistle brooch

I have a MIZPAH silver coloured brooch it has two thistle crossed and amber coloured stones in the thistle. It has the MIZPAH logo on the back along with the arrow going through two hearts, but no other markings. I have been checking it on the internet and have found no way of telling whether this is the early edition made in Scotland or if it's the miracle company that took over from them. I am trying to sell it, but the one is worth £30 and the other £400. So any idea how I can tell the difference. I have taken it to a jewellers, but they want £35 to tell me it's worth £30. Lol.
