Mikimoto Goes Antique Style with Platinum & Pearls by: Anonymous
Platinum is a generation X metal meaning relatively new for use in jewelry - keep this in mind alongside the Mikimoto history when dating - Mikimoto make exquisite pearl jewelry in platinum today. It's Not marked with an S.
I couldn't resist uploading these two pendants; Mikimoto's latest Pearl offerings, both made of Platinum. The pearls, ironically, play a supportive role, each piece reflects excellence in craftsmanship and is made of the finest materials.
Pendant on the right is comprised of Platinum, Akoya Pearl, Ruby, Diamond and Mother of Pearl The Pendant on the left is comprised of Platinum, Akoya Pearl, Sapphire, Ruby, Diamond, Spinel, Onyx and is reminiscent of the art deco era - nothing brand spanking new in these design elements from the iconic house of the finest pearl jewelry.
Kind Regards Yvonne

S on Mikimoto by: Anonymous
Hi Floyd
I know Mikimoto uses "S" do denote - Silver. Does the pearl clasp have anywhere on it - the famous clamshell with the letter M inside?
