It's hard to tell based on your description, pictures would be tremendously helpful if you could take some of both the necklace, bracelet and close-ups of any markings you see on on the pieces. If you're unable to post pictures please give a detailed description. Often the markings are difficult to see, the use of a magnify glass or a loupe should help you.
When taking photo's of jewelry markings be sure your camera is on "macro" setting, this helps with clarity when taking close-ups.
