Markings on Scottish Gold Ring

I have a gold ring passed to me from my aunt from Scotland. The symbols are RVAC 9-375 (anchor) H

I take it the 9-375 means 9 carat gold and the anchor shows that it was assayed in Birmingham, but do not know the significance of RVAC or the fancy letter H at the end. Any information would be very nice to have. Thank you.
