Good Morning Assuming is not convincing when it comes to appraising jewelry. There is no evidence that I can see to confirm the ring is of high quality, an antique or even vintage. The stone if it is an opal is lifeless - perhaps it is the photo. We cannot see the marks clearly on the ring either.
