markings on bottom of EP sugar bowl & jug

Would like some history & a valuation if poss. please. Markings K&T LD EP MARTINOID PAT 1957. NB. Am totally new to all this internet stuff so any help much appreciated! Have more items if I get success with this. Thanx in anticipation!
