Love Ring - JTC 967

My Mother gave me a ring that was her original engagement ring from the late 60's early 70's. I would like some information on it. It says LOVE and has a heart on either side of the word. It is a pretty wide band. Its probably one of the most sentimental heirlooms we have as my father passed away when we were young and my mother never remarried.
