Lotus Ivory Pearl Necklace

I recently bought from eBay a bouble strand lotus ivory pearl necklace that was noted as in an excellent condition. But when I received it I noticed that the pearls around the clasp are a bit grey from both sides which sadly was never mentioned in the item description. Is there any way I can clean them and bring back the ivory colour to the pearls?
