Looking for honest feedback

I inherited from my mother-in-law a single strand akoya pearl necklace, the clasp has a pearl center with 12 small diamonds set in white gold. The matching earrings, again, white gold with approximately 1/4 carat diamond and single pearl. The set was purchased during WW2 in Paris. Had them appraised at $200.00?, yet everything was confirmed as akoya, white gold and diamonds.
