I am very sorry to hear about your missing ring. How disappointing. Lena, were there actually three cameos in the ring? This would mean the cameos are very small. Cameos of this small size will be very difficult to carve for even the most experienced stone carver.
A photo of the subject would be necessary in order to create a replacement cameo ring. Or failing an image of the ring, have you seen anything similar on the internet?
