Japanese hallmarks on gold? Mens Vintage Cufflinks

Have not been able to translate these Japanese marks. They are on the back of a set of mens Naval cufflinks owned by an US officer WWII era. They look like gold with enamel on the front with Anchor design. Also includes a tie bar clip. Signed with Japanese hallmarks. Any help you can give would be much appreciated. My photo may show the writing upside down because I didn't know which way the characters are written;-)
