from the image, this piece looks as if it's made of silver metal, and the hallmarks look like they could be Mexican Hallmarks. Mexico is known for their talented Silversmiths. Also to test the metal, try Silver Testing Solution that's available from Jewelry Supply Houses. I wouldn't recycle this bracelet if it were mine, it's unique and has the beautiful patina of age, that only comes through time.
