Inherited pearls from grandmother

I have inherited pearls from my deceased gran about 15 yrs ago. They have a beautiful garnet and pearl clasp. Cream in colour. And quite large. From info I have my grandfather bought them for her in China in about 1940 I think. Any idea of value?
