Info on 1964 ROYAL string of pearls

Hi, I've have been surfing the web for days now on information regarding the above. I inherited two single strands of pearls and stamped on the clasp is 1964 ROYAL. Also stamped on the clasp is PEND and the letters OFPTGH. Would appreciate any help on this. Thanking you in advance.
