Identify Pendant Hallmarks

I have a pendant with a large C mark with a L inside it and an A inside that. It is marked 14K. I would like to know the maker. Also there is a pin that has a star impressed in the back. Is that a gold mark? I'm sorry that my pictures did not turn out like I had hoped so I'm not sending them. Thank you, P. Pearson
