I have a lovely 18 kt rose gold bracelet comprised of woven fine wire. The entire hallmark is FF 20 VR 750. I suppose that in this instance it could stand for "Fine Filagree" as the fine gold wire makes a delicate woven pattern.

Felger's trade mark was FFF and the gold stamp. I sold many of their rings, earrings and necklaces over the years.

Heavy Vintage Coral Ring by: Anonymous
Hi James thanks for writing in with the following hallmark question:
"Do you know what they may be the maker or designer's initials. They are not the owners initials. I asked before coming here. The ring is made of yellow gold very asian in design and in HEAVY gold work, and has a really rich large red coral stone in the center. Approximate age is 1960's to 70's era. Any hep you can give me is great."
Sounds like a lovely vintage coral ring. True coral is much heavier than its imitations. It effervesces when just touched with nitric acid. Coral jewelry became fashionable again starting in the 1920's.
