How to identify the age and value of Majorica pearls.

I inherited a strand of pearls in the original box and with an identification number from Majorica. Is there a resource where I can learn the actual age of these pearls? They belonged to my Mother-in-law and in 30 years I never saw her wear them. They are really beautiful and I will really enjoy wearing them.
