Uk hallmark & Date Letters

Hi Bob, difficult to tell without a bit more information.
the FJ is the sponsor mark and that refers to the company who made the item.

The crown and 18 together denotes 18ct gold
The anchor shows this item was hallmarked in birmingham

The V is the date letter, but I'd need to know the font style, whether it's capital or lower case, and the shield shape that surrounds the letter.

Date letters run in a 20 year cycle, and the font and/or shield shape changes.
