the ring will be pre- 1975 as the decimal point was dropped off preceding the millesimal value "375" in that year. Possibly 1923 looking at the Birmingham date letters. If the letters are FF & Co the maker will be FETTER, FORBES & Co. Birmingham ca. 1920s this would also support the letter date mark and the history.
