Hallmark

I have an amethest ring, 10 k and the hallmark is so tiny.... two diamond shapes lying sideways (maybe called a lozenge) each with a tiny initial inside. I think the first initial is a C. It is a vintage ring, maybe 50 yrs old. No photo.
