Hi 14 carat gold normally has a K designation or Ct after the numbers.
14K, 14ct or 585 (parts per 1000) or 58.5% gold (Asian for overseas market. Common in USA. Russian 584.)
So the numbers might be a manufacturing number. The ring might not be gold either. If you are in doubt and you think it's worth the money, have it tested by a jeweller.
