Arrows going through U and Pyramid
by: Anonymous

Hi Dan - without the benefit of a photo of the jewelry mark it is hard to tell. Have a look at the mark under a jewelers loupe or strong magnifying glass. Can you make out a number 1 before the 4 which has all but worn away? 14 means the ring is 14 karat gold. common on US gold jewelry.

UNCAS MFG Co. (Manufacturing Jewelers, Providence, RI, USA) - ca 1920s - Present use an arrow going through the "U". The arrow hasn't got feathers.

The company not only produced premium rings, but also jewelry including bracelets, earrings, charms.

The empty pyramid stamp/ triangle, is UK - Birmingham - on all grades except 24ct gold on local & IMPORTED Wares -ca 1904 to present.

However, at least a photo of the mark, is necessary for any worthwhile hallmark determination.

best wishes,
