Gold Madonna Pendant - Russian, French or Other?

Pendant has the following hallmarks on the back and also on the side of the bail. (a 5 pointed star, the number 1529, and the initials AL). The picture on the front looks like it is a hand painted enamel work of a Madonna and child (the child has blond hair). It is beautiful and just wondering about the hallmarks, where it is from, how old it is and is it valuable as it looks?
