of Robert Hamilton, Henry Glazbrook & James Glazbrook. Although his name was kept, Hamilton left the partnership in 1817. The firm went through an extraordinary fifteen more partner changes over the ensuing fifty years. The trunk unfortunately appears to be downwards, elephant definitely not blowing his trumpet :D

The elephant is a full body side view, trunk raised. View is from the right side of the elephant. the bracelet is either gold or brass (?) it's a soft metal. the bracelet has raised balls all the way around it and there' s dark patina in the channel where the balls are. The balls are about the size of 1/2 of a small cherry pit. There are no other marks that are seen. The elephant is stamped on the inside of the bracelet, the stamp is shallow and very small. It's on the edge of the inside surface.

Good Morning Linda Thank you for contacting. Without seeing a photo of the elephant mark, more information will help; is the bracelet made of silver or gold? Is it an elephants head or is it the entire elephant? If the item is silver, and it's an elephant HEAD stamp, with his trunk upright, looking like he is blowing his trumpet, it could be a Czechoslovakia stamp on SILVER Imported items, used from 1941- 1975
