Eagle Head, & Dogs, Boars & Wolf's Heads

Hi Anthony,

sorry but I can't see the eagle head - the photo isn't in focus.

If it is an eagle head then it's french of course, it the French gold standard mark on 18 ct gold and higher from 1838 - Present.

Here is a link to the French Country HallMarks. The Eagle Head is there so you can compare with the animals on your piece.

If it is the French eagle head you won't need to test for gold. If it's not, your local jeweler can test for you, it is a simple test, it shouldn't cost much, alternatively you can test for gold your self using digital gold testing equipment.
