Chinese Immortals

The little figure on these earrings is not a wizard, he is a Chinese figure of one of the seven immortals. There would have been a Necklace and bracelet which would have had all of the deities interspersed with temples and jade coloured stones.

This type of design was made be a few companies. Har was a major manufacturers of this type of Oriental jewellery, as was Hattie Carnegie. However that is not the mark on these. It looks almost like Coro with a copyright symbol. Coro was a New York City based company, and in their early years they had some wonderful designers working for them. Sadly the stamp is not clear enough to identify the maker. The quality is obvious. These are extremely well made.
