Being able to identify the stones on the bracelet will be necessary for valuation purposes, however I doubt they would be gemstones of great value as the watch is marked for 10k gold filled. That is, providing the bracelet is the original.
We do not provide valuations on Antique Jewelry Investor. You might like to try What It's Worth 2 You. They do online valuations.
i'm not sure what the stones are, there are 12 of them set in gold on the watch band. The stamp L in circle is on the back of the face of this watch as well - "10KG FILLED". Do you have any idea when it was made or what it might be worth?
Although the photo isn't all that clear, but you tried :) the band also looks quite interesting, doesn't it. The Patent pending mark is also interesting and not common.
Would you mind telling us please, what the pieces that run along the strap that appear the color blue in the photo, made from?
There are some good vintage Cortberte wristwatch buys around at present to be sure, as vintage Cortberte wristwatches and antique pocket watches can be found at ridiculous prices.
We would also be interested to know WHERE exactly the L in a circle mark appears on this vintage watch. The gold filled mark you mentioned, what is the gold filled mark, i.e 10kg.f ?
L in a circle is the trademark for E.L. Logee Co., Inc Providence. R.I since 1895 (mostly on emblems, manufacturing jewelers)
