Hi James

we need to see the letter, cursive is not enough.

You can upload a photo of the mark at the following link.

Date Question
by: Anonymous

Hi,
I have an absolutely fantastic 18ct gold signet ring, dating from 1915. The date letter is a cursive 'P', so judging from th little information I have, I would say it is from 8 years prior to that. Probably around 1907.
Hope this helps.
James

Chester Date Letters
by: Anonymous

Hi Chris sounds like a lovely antique gold bracelet. As it has the millesimal value it will be after 1854. You need to compare the letter H which will be the date letter against the Chester date letters.

You need to see the date letter, as the shield around the letter is part of the date letter mark.

regards,
Peter
